Here you can find information on how to meet your driver.
Pickup from an Airport:
- Firstly, your driver will try to get in touch with you to arrange a convenient place to meet you, free of the airport fee (read more about the airport fee). He will usually use WhatsApp or call you directly. If the driver is unable to get in touch with you, once your flight has landed and 40 minutes have passed, he will get inside the terminal. The 40 minutes gap between the landing time and the driver’s entrance is to allow you enough time to pass the passport control and grab your luggage
- When the driver gets inside the terminal, he will be waiting at the end of the terminal with a board name with your Display name. This will be displayed on the booking confirmation.
- If one hour has passed from your landing time and we are unable to get in touch with you by phone/whatsapp/email, we will cancel the booking and driver will leave the airport – please make sure your phone is switched on once you have landed
- Airport fees: Each airport charges a parking fee to enter the terminal or to drop passengers. The driver will do his best to avoid any of these charges, but this cannot be guaranteed. Any parking cost inquired by the driver to meet you (or to drop you off) will be added to your total price.
Pickup from an Address:
- Your driver will arrive at the scheduled time or early and park, if possible, in front of the hotel or around it. If the pickup is from a residential address, he will park in front of your door or nearby, where possible
- Please wait in front of the hotel/address at the scheduled time. This means if you need to check out from your hotel, make sure you do it before the scheduled pickup time. Due to UK parking legislation, driver is unable to leave the car to locate you, so please make sure you are waiting in front of the door at the scheduled time
- There is no free waiting time from an address. That means if you need additional time to be ready, the charge for extra waiting is £5.00 for each 15 minutes increments – waiting between 1 minute to 15 minutes will be charged £5.00, from 16 to 30 minutes the charge will be £10.00 and so on
Pickup from a Sea Port:
- Your driver will enter the Sea Port terminal at the scheduled time of your booking.
- When the driver gets inside the terminal, he will be waiting at the end of the terminal with a board name with your Display name. This will be displayed on the booking confirmation.
- There is a 30 minutes waiting free of charge.
- If you need additional time to clear customs or collect the luggage, the charge for extra waiting is £5.00 for each 15 minutes increments – this means if 30 minutes have passed after the scheduled pickup time, waiting between 1 minute to 15 minutes will incur a £5.00 charge, from 16 to 30 minutes the charge will be £10.00 and so on
Notes: Clearing customs and getting your luggage after the docking time on a Sea Port usually takes about 1:30hrs to 2:00hrs. Please consider carefully when choosing your pickup time at a Sea Port to avoid extra charges, or discuss this with your Vessel provider.
